Disclosures

The content of this website and blog is written and edited by me, Patricia A. Stanard.  My goal of this site and blog is to showcase my family history, genealogy research and to inspire others to find their own ancestors.  This blog is not a full-time source of income for me.  I have a regular full-time job that supports my genealogy habit/obsession.  The compensation earned from this blog, if any, will fund my genealogy education.  If you have any questions about this website and blog, please feel free to email me at tricia520@gmail.com.

This blog abides by word of mouth marketing standards and believe in honesty of relationship, opinion and identity.  The compensation received may influence the advertising content, topics or posts made in this blog.  That content, advertising space or post will be clearly identified as paid or sponsored content.

I may be compensated to provide my opinion on products, services, websites and various other topics.  Even though I, Patricia A. Stanard, the owner of this blog, may receive compensation for my posts or advertisements, I will always give my honest opinions, findings, beliefs, or experiences on those topics or products.  The views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely my own.  Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer or provider.

I have received promotional materials from various vendors when I attend conferences such as the Geneabloggers Welcome Bag at the Southern California Genealogical Society Jamboree 2011.  Those promotional materials that I do not keep for my personal use, will be given away as prizes in a contest.

This blog does not contain content which might present a conflict of interest.
