My name is Patricia Stanard and I am the owner/blogger of My Genealogy Obsession. I have been researching my family history off and on for the past 20+ years, but seriously for the past 10 years.
I want to preserve my ancestor’s story but in the most respectful, professional way I can. I am not a professional genealogist, but I am obsessed with my family history and genealogy. I have my bachelor and master’s degree in Business Administration and I am looking to increase my genealogical education. I have worked for 16 years for a large city government department in their legal division as a legal secretary.
Personally I am mother to the most beautiful, patience-testing, 17-year old daughter and I am married to a wonderful husband who understands my genealogy obsession! We are also parents to the most loveable fur-baby, Roxy!!!
